JOHN ROBERT HURLEY

I am a Brooklyn, NY-based artist. I create as a lead collaborator, director, writer and performer for theater, stills and film. I was raised the next county over from Macon, Georgia riding horses, wandering pine forests alone and feeling pretty out of place most of the time. I moved to NYC to attend the New School for Drama as a director and have been here ever since. My personal creations center on the search for community, and the possibilities that lie beyond collapse. My paychecks have taken me from the world of wildlife documentaries to high fashion and everything in between. I am always open to new collaborators and creative experiences.
